Congratulations to Shawn Murray, Class of 1982, who was inducted into the Michigan Chapter of the National Wrestling Hall of Fame on May 19, 2024, for his lifetime service to coaching high school wrestling. Shawn has been coaching high school wrestling for 40 plus years.

Robbie Hall Parker Elementary School was one of 81 schools in Macomb County to receive Green School designation. Parker recycles paper among other eco-friendly activities. Fourth graders participated in a campus clean up for Earth Day.
Congratulations to Kamaria Green for being selected as one of three winners for the Macomb Area Conference Principals Association Leadership Scholarship! Green is a senior at Clintondale High School and received a $1,000 scholarship. Congratulations to Lazarrius Abner for being selected to the Macomb County All-Academic Team. Abner has an overall 4.299 grade point average and an SAT score of 1480! He is a dual-enrolled student at Macomb Community College and a senior at Clintondale High School.

Last week, Clintondale alumni guest readers came to Parker Elementary School to celebrate March is Reading Month. Jared Maynard '98, Clintondale Community Schools Board of Education president, and Iona Means '80, community member, read to students in the first, second, third and fourth grades.
