Welcome to the 2025-2026 School Year

August 20, 2025

Dear Clintondale Dragons,

Welcome back to Clintondale High School for the 2025–2026 school year! I hope each of you had a safe, restful, and enjoyable summer, and that you are returning ready to learn, grow, and make this year your best yet. As your principal, I could not be more excited to see our hallways and classrooms filled once again with the energy, the talent, and the latent potential that make our school so special.

This year, we are focused on reaching new heights together. Our goals for the 2025–2026 school year are clear:

  • Increase academic rigor by challenging ourselves and striving for excellence in every class.
  • Promote extracurricular involvement by encouraging every student to find a team, club, or activity where they can connect, contribute, and shine.
  • Improve student attendance because being present each day is the foundation for success.
  • Bolster our college and career readiness by preparing every Dragon for the opportunities that await at the end of these four years.
  • Strengthen community involvement as we continue to build bridges between our school, families, and community partners.

As Dragons, we know that success comes not only from hard work, but also from supporting one another. I challenge each of you to embrace these goals and to push yourselves beyond your comfort zone—whether that means raising your academic expectations, joining a new activity, or stepping into a leadership role.

Together, we will make Clintondale High School a place where every student is empowered to thrive and every Dragon is prepared for the future. I look forward to celebrating your achievements, big and small, throughout this school year.

Let’s make 2025–2026 a year filled with growth, success, and, as always, Dragon Pride!

Once school starts, if a student believes they are in the wrong academic course, a student may pick up a “Student Change Request Form” and sign up with their counselor to discuss any schedule changes.

All students will get school pictures taken on Thursday, September 26th. Photo IDs will be given to students, and it is mandatory that they are worn by each student every day.

We hope this information helps you in starting to prepare your student for a successful year.  Please feel free to stop in and say hello, as my door is always open.  You can also follow us on Facebook @ClintondaleHigh and Facebook & Instagram @ClintondaleSchools for updates throughout the year!  In addition, if there is anything I can assist you with, please do not hesitate to contact me.  I look forward to seeing both students and parents in the coming weeks.
